How It All Started
Back in 2018, our founder Emma noticed a gap in the pet care market. Most grooming salons and pet services operated like assembly lines, rushing animals through without regard for their individual temperaments or needs. Having worked as a veterinary nurse for several years, she knew there had to be a better way.
Gleam Spot was born from the idea that pet care should feel more like visiting a trusted friend than dropping your companion at a sterile facility. We designed our space to feel welcoming, equipped it with the best tools available and most importantly, assembled a team that shares our passion for animal wellbeing.
Today we serve thousands of pet families across the UK, but our approach remains unchanged. Every animal that comes through our doors receives the same thoughtful attention, whether it is a boisterous Labrador on their hundredth visit or a nervous rescue cat experiencing professional grooming for the first time.
